The TWGSS Scout Group 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Celebration was held on 7 November 2014.
The opening speech was made by Principal WONG, followed by a World Scout Jamboree event sharing talk by Mr. Ray CHERUNG. The Keynote Speech about pursuit of dreams was made by a Queen’s scout, Dr. Francis CHIN. Another Queen’s scout, Mr. Simon LEUNG then shared his experience and achievements from his time as a student in this school. The highlight of the celebration was marked by the presentation of the TWGSS Scout Group 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Commemoration Plaque to the school. The assembly ended with a photo-taking session. Alumni, after being separated from their beloved school for so many years, were glad to have pictures taken inside the school to record this memorable moment.
The celebration ended with a banquet at night. Alumni, teachers and scouts enjoyed a buffet dinner in the Panda Hotel. There was a robust exchange of Scout and life experiences. Everyone enjoyed the night. It marked the end of the 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Celebrationand we are looking forward to having the 60thin 10 years.
