On 19 December 2014 our school was honoured to have a lecturer from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology give a presentation on modern biotechnology. In his speech, Dr. Kenny CHUNG urged the students to associate daily matters with biotechnology. He cited a myriad of milestones in biotechnology, for instance, the human genome project which was embarked on in 1989 and completed in 2001. In addition, Dr. CHUNG interacted proactively with our students by asking if the fried chicken sold by KFC is 'authentic' enough. The students were delighted by Dr. CHUNG's speech and so there was significant rapport when it came to an end."
