The 6th Inter-Government Secondary Schools English Debating Competition (Preliminaries) was held on 28 March 2015.
It was jointly organized by Queen Elizabeth School (the coordinator), Homantin Government Secondary School, Lung Cheung Government Secondary School, Shau Kei Wan Government Secondary School, Sir Ellis Kadoorie Secondary School (West Kowloon), Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School and Tuen Mun Government Secondary School. Two contests were held in Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School, with Mr GAUDET Jim (Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School), Mr PAK Lok-hin (Sheung Shui Government Secondary School) and Ms BARKER Hannah (Tin Shui Wai Government Secondary School) as the adjudicators.
Three contests were held in Shau Kei Wan Government Secondary School, with Mr WONG Ka-ho (Shau Kei Wan Government Secondary School), Ms WONG Lai-chun (NTHYK Yuen Long District Secondary School) and Mr TSANG Chun-ngai (Helen Liang Memorial Secondary School (Shatin)) as the adjudicators. Our team won their debate and 5D LI Man-ling of our team got the Best Debater Award. They will advance to the quarter-final to be held on 25 April 2015.
