The 6th Inter-Government Secondary Schools English Debating Competition (Quarter-finals), jointly organized by Queen Elizabeth School (Coordinator), Homantin Government Secondary School, Lung Cheung Government Secondary School, Shau Kei Wan Government Secondary School, Sir Ellis Kadoorie Secondary School (West Kowloon), Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School and Tuen Mun Government Secondary School, was held on 25 April 2015.
Four contests were held in Homantin Government Secondary School, with Mrs LAI CHAN Ching-yan, Sammi (Homantin Government Secondary School), Mr SAVY Robert Frank (Yuen Long Public Secondary School) and Miss HSI Sau-ching, Carmen (Tuen Mun Government Secondary School) serving as the adjudicators. The TWGSS team won their debate, with our own LEUNG Wai-yan (5A) receiving the Best Debater Award. The team will advance to the semi-final to be held on 23 May 2015.
