The Pictionary Competition, organized by the English Society, was held on 2 December 2015. In this activity, students are given words which they must produce a drawing for. Their teammates try to guess the words from the sketches. The competition allows students to convey the meaning of a word through a visual medium, which is more suitable for some types of learners as it allows them to understand the sense of the word better. At the same time, their motivation to learn English is enhanced.
Students certainly enjoyed participating in the activity, as the smiles and laughter attested to.
