The “Decoding Chinese Historic Buildings” Workshop was organised by the Life-wide Learning Team and Humanities Subjects for all S1B students and was held on 17 February, 2016.
The workshop aimed to supplement students’ classroom learning about traditional rural life in Hong Kong. Conducted by the staff of the Antiquities and Monuments Office at the Hong Kong Heritage Diesovery Centre, the workshop revealed the history and different structural features of Chinese-built edifices in Hong Kong through interactive games. The participants showed strong interest in the activities arranged for them.
