28 prefects attended the Joint School Prefects Training Camp from 29 June to 30 June. Other participating schools included Kwun Tong Government Secondary School, Kowloon Industrial School and Ho Tung Secondary School. At the camp, prefects from each school were required to design and conduct an activity as a training exercise. On the first afternoon, prefects from Ho Tung Secondary School held an ice-breaking session. At night, a talent show was held by the four schools and our school performed a short drama with singing and dancing. The show was followed by an orienteering activity organized by our school, with assistance from Prefects from Kowloon Industrial School.
On the second day, Kwun Tong Government Secondary School held the third activity. Prefects were required to discuss and finally perform a short drama about how they would tackle different situations when they were on duty.
Lastly, there was a closing ceremony in which several awards were distributed based on performance on the two days. We are honored to have received the "Talent Show Award" and the "Best Team Award". More than the prizes, what really means a lot is the invaluable experience our prefects gained at the camp, as it significantly developed their leadership, organization and communication skills.
