A police talk about juvenile delinquency was held on the 23rd of September in the school hall. We were honoured to have Mr. Fung, a member of the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau, as the speaker. He briefly introduced some crimes related to Triads, such as professing or claiming to be a member of a triad society. He also talked about common crimes committed by the Triads, including drug trafficking, prostitution, unlawful assembly, etc. Mr. Fung’s vivid presentation successfully drew students’ attention to organized crime and their awareness of Triad societies within the district. The police talk was followed by the introduction of the Junior Police Call. Several activities held by JPC like voluntary work, leadership training camp, exchange programmes etc. were introduced, which familiarized students with Junior Police Call functions.
9月23日，本校在學校禮堂舉行了「青少年罪行」警方講座。我們很榮幸能邀請到有組織罪案及三合會調查科警員馮先生，為我們講解有關三合會活動的罪行，例如聲稱或自稱為三合會的成員。他說明了部份三合會常犯罪行，包括非法毒品交易、賣淫活動、非法集結等，馮先生生動的講座成功引起同學對有組織罪案和區內三合會活動的關注。其後，有警方代表介紹「少年警訊」的活動，如義工活動、領袖訓練營、交流團等，使同學對「少年警訊」認識更深。
