The Integrated Science Department successfully conducted an Open Lesson for science teachers on 7 May 2014.
The main trial strategies of the lesson included: a) using Think-Pair-Share strategy in brainstorming and sharing initial ideas; and b) using discovery approach to further enhance the pupils’ scientific investigatory mind. Ms Siron Chan and Mr Hui (HK & Kowloon Kaifong Women's Association Sun Fong Chung College) and 5 science teachers attended the lesson and professional dialogue was sparked among participating teachers, leading to mutual growth and development.
