The 44th Annual Swimming Gala was held on 26 September 2014 at the Tsing Yi Swimming Pool. We were most honoured to have the President of our Alumni Association, Mr HO Kui-lee, Perkins, as Guest of Honour. The event started with the athletes entrance and the flag raising ceremony. We were honoured to have our Principal Mr WONG Ip-cheung, Daniel declare the event open. There were more than 312 competitors this year. Five new records were set.
Also, we were pleased that parents and alumni participated in the relay event. And we had 14 parents take part in the official judging to help the events run smoothly. Finally, Mr HO Kui-lee, Perkins presented the prizes to our winners and afterwards gave a very meaningful speech.
The individual championships went to 5C CHAU Sau-tsun (Boys A Grade), 3B WAN Cho-hei and 4C MA Ho-yeung, Victor (Boys B Grade), 2D LAU Sai-yin (Boys C Grade), 6D WONG Ming-yan (Girls A Grade) and 2A YIP Wai-lam (Girls B Grade). The most successfulswimmerwas 5C CHAU Sau-tsun whobroke the records inthe Boys Grade A50mand 100m freestyleraces. The overall championshipwent to CamphorHouse and the Best House Spirit award went to Pine House.
