48 S3-5 Prefect Board members joined the “Problem Solving Workshop” on 22 November 2021 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. This is third part of the Leadership Training series.
It aimed to equip students with the necessary attributes to become rising leaders through observing problems in different aspects and seeking possible solutions.
The speaker from HKFYG led the participants through a series of leadership training activities in groups, including three thought-provoking games and a competition
In the first game, rubber bands were given to Prefects to name them as different objects, such as wristbands, a circle, as well as headbands. The second game was to look for patterns in different alphabets and numbers. After the intriguing games, various tips to boost our creativity were introduced to Prefects, including looking things at a different perspective, focusing on details etc. In the competition, participants had to complete three tasks which stimulate their creativity.
It is hoped that their problem-solving skills were enhanced so that they would be better prepared for the tasks for the coming year.
