Warzone90 Humanitarian Exploration Programme

The History Department provided our S4 and S5 History students with an experiential learning activity, "Warzone90", organized by the Humanitarian Education Centre of Hong Kong Red Cross.  "Warzone90" is the first exploration zone on war in Asia.  The programme adopts a 4E's education pattern: Explore, Experience, Exchange and Engage.  Our students participated in simulation regarding humanitarian challenges to experience situations faced by children in war.  They perceived humanitarian consequences brought by war and pondered ways to practice humanitarian actions in daily life.  It is more than a space for personal reflection: it invites our students into a shared dialogue for new ideas and solutions to "protect human lives, care for the vulnerable and respect human dignity".
