After two months of students’ utmost care and attention, a majority of seedlings of the “One Person-One Flower” Scheme have grown into healthy young plants. The plants were collected on 26 January, 2016 at the School Lobby during lunch time and put on sale. Upon producing a well-grown plant, each student was awarded a small gift in appreciation. Many of them purchased their own flowers or those of others. A sum of $280 was raised from sales and donated to the Community Chest. This year, the classes with the best participation in the programme were 1D and 3A, which received prizes in a ceremony held at the booth that day. Students learned about horticulture and had fun in this activity.
