S.1 and S.2 Spelling Bee

S.1 and S.2 Spelling Bee Competitions were held by English Society on 25/3/14 and 26/3/14 in 2C classroom representatively. Two representatives from each class came for the competition. The main theme is to encourage students to practise English spelling in terms of pronunciation and correct parts of speech.

The vocabulary used was all from the S.1 and S.2 curriculum respectively, with items to be tested in the Term 2 Uniform test given priority. Each team was asked to spell words pronounced. The one who spelled the most correct words would be the winner.

It was very competitive. Some students simply refused to make a mistake! There were some very able spellers!

The participants were exceptional spellers and the competition was quite intense and lengthy.

Overall, good revision for the upcoming Uniform Test!
