A Setback Education Workshop was arranged for our S1 students after the First Term Examination in January 2026. It aimed at cultivating resilience and positivity among students. Under an affirmative and positive atmosphere, our students have gained inspirations through accomplishing an array of individual challenges and group tasks with the help of the instructors and class teachers.
Students’ persistence and adaptation have been sufficiently tapped on through challenges. Towards the end of the workshop, students were required to reflect upon how setbacks could be seen as an experience of growth, thereby boosting their well-being. The workshop was well-received. The students agreed that the workshop managed to enhanced their understanding of the factors contributing to achieving success, the value of ‘setback’ and ‘failure’ in life, strategies to handle everyday challenges, as well as the significance of a positive mentality.
