WONG Yat-kiu Kevin from Class 5B has been selected to join the “Distinguished Master, Accomplished Students” Mentorship Programme, which is jointly organized by the Academy of Sciences of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences and the Hong Kong Institution of Science. The Mentorship Programme is aimed at helping aspiring young people to become successful scientists and engineers. Pro bono mentorship will be offered by members of the three co-organisers, who are renowned scientists and engineers, to more than 100 senior secondary school students committed to pursuing a career in science and technology. The mentor of WONG Yat-kiu Kevin is Professor CHING Pak-chung, who is Choh-Ming Li Professor of Electronic Engineering and Director of Shun Hing Institute of Advanced Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Professor CHING will meet Kevin regularly in the coming two years to provide him with guidance on his career and life planning.
