The “Care for the Elderly Charity Ticket Campaign” was one of the highlights of Secret Angel Caring Programme. The activity aimed to raise funds for The Elderly Association Limited to develop services for the sake of the elderly’s well-being. Committee members of the Community Youth Club (CYC) actively sold raffle tickets in the morning on 14 November in the school lobby. Donations of above HKD15,000 were gathered from teachers and students. Through participating in the event, volunteers were inculcated with the spirit of respect and love to the aged, which is indeed the traditional Chinese virtue. It is hoped that spreading the message throughout the campus, we would be able to direct youngsters’ attention to the welfare of the elders.
