The English Hot Seat Competition was an English vocabulary enrichment activity, which aimed to encourage students to communicate on a topic using synonyms and antonyms. In each group, the student on the ‘hot seat’ had to hold a balloon to be poked by other team members while giving hints in English for the student to guess the English word behind the ‘hot seat’.
The game was a great success as the 40 S1-5 participants truly enjoyed this fun activity and interacted actively with the English Society committee members and their English teachers.
