The programmes included the Principal's Speech, Firecracker Ceremony, Video Show (Happy Birthday to TWGSS), Presentation of Prizes, Introduction of 60th Anniversary Celebration Activities for the whole year and "Sharing of Joy" (Distribution of 60th Anniversary Files). Two representatives of the Alumni Association, the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Parents-Teachers’ Association were present as our guests of honor at the ceremony.
The most impressive part was when the Principal, the Vice principals, 14 student leaders and the guests let off 22 firecrackers. The message of
"Blessing" was well delivered through the Video Show made by our students. The Champion's work of the Slogan and Logo Competition was printed on the 60th Anniversary files displaying the students' academic achievements and their strong sense of belonging. The Kick-off Ceremony was conducted successfully and the positive message of whole-school participation in our anniversary celebration was clearly conveyed.
To prevent COVID-19, a series of arrangements had been adopted. Only S1 and S6 students attended the ceremony in the Hall to maintain social distancing, while other forms stayed in the classrooms to watch the live broadcast. In the ceremony, student performances were canceled, and handshaking was avoided in the prize presentation session.
