Health Education: Information Literacy Week

With the help of the Hong Kong Children & Youth Services and the health ambassadors from the Healthy School Programme, the Information literacy week was launched to educate our students to distinguish between true news and fake news on the internet. Display boards were placed in the school lobby during recesses, lunch time and after school. Students answered questions to win prizes after studying the materials on the boards. Great responses were made and more than 300 students participated in the game stalls.

Workshops about the misuse of the Internet were organized for the class period. Social workers had an online workshop with S.3 and S.4 students. The workshop provided in-depth understanding of the adverse effects of addiction to the internet, helping our students spend their time wisely.
