As part of the STEM education programme in our school, junior science formed groups to do project works. S.2 students were taught about the theory of flight and learnt how to make a wooden glider. For S.1 students, they were taught to make a rubber band car. For both levels, students needed to construct products that could cover the longest distance. After the preliminary competition, two finalists were selected from each class to enter the final competition. In the first day of the post-examination period, S.1 and S.2 students were seated in the hall to witness the event and cheered for their classmates. The winner would be awarded with the innovation scholarship. The activities successfully combined knowledge and skills in science and technology. The competitors showed great creativity and let all the audience share a very enjoyable morning.
