Prefect Leadership Training Workshop 2021-2022 – Communication Skill Training Workshop

On 7th April, the Prefect Board members joined the Communication Skills Workshop, organised by The HKFYG Leadership Institute, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Although the online workshop was held online, it was still a meaningful and educational workshop with good interaction between the host and fellow participants.  

The aims of this workshop are:

• To let students to learn communication skills and utilize them in daily life
• To allow students to understand the different content, form, and focus of communication
• To remind students of what they need to pay attention to the different content, form and focus of communication when sending and receiving messages
• To give students a chance to master basic communication skills and communication barriers such as blind spots and perspectives 

From the 4 group discussions and sharing, participants learnt how to make the communication smoother, which can certainly help perfects to perform their duties better. All in all, this workshop was beneficial for our students. It is believed that students have gained a lot from this workshop and will be able utilize these skills at school and workplace in the future.
