Life-wide Learning Day (S5) - Elderly Simulation Workshop and Disability Inclusion Workshop

The Life-wide Learning Day was held on 21 February 2023. Two meaningful experiential learning workshops were organised for S5 students, providing them with a concrete experience to strengthen their sense of empathy towards the needy in our society.

In the Elderly Simulation Workshop, students had the opportunities to participate in several simulation activities to experience the challenges faced by the elderly in their daily lives so they had a better understanding of the elderly.

In the Disability Inclusion Workshop, students learnt more about the daily adversities faced by the people with different disabilities through a sharing session and various activities. They also had more insights into the equal relationship between people with and without disabilities, and building a disability inclusive society.

The students found these workshops thought-provoking and valuable, which allowed them to collaborate with diverse people in our community. These also helped them understand how others are feeling and see things from another person's perspective.
