The Road to Success – Alumni Talk Series (1)

On 20 October 2023, Mr Ken HUI, a graduate of the Class of 2000, was the guest speaker for the Road to Success – Alumni Talk Series. Mr HUI served as a senior lecturer and chief lecturer at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education and the Youth College respectively. Currently, his main role is managing the Youth College (Kowloon Bay Branch) and developing vocational education programmes for Form 6 or below school leavers. During the talk, he shared his personal experiences and career development, providing guidance on goal-setting. His exploration of the relationship between personality and career choices enlightened students about the importance of self-awareness. By emphasizing the virtues of responsibility, empathy and perseverance, Mr HUI instilled in students the values necessary for success in both their personal and professional lives. The students gained valuable insights on how to navigate their own paths.
