The 58th Annual Speech Day

The 58th Annual Speech Day was held on 18 November 2023. The programme started with the Principal’s Report in which she lauded the various achievements and successes of students. The Guest of Honour, Mr LEE Tai-on, congratulated all the graduates and prize recipients on their success in 2022-2023. Awards and scholarships were presented to S1-6 students for their accomplishments. In his address, Mr Lee emphasized the importance of holistic development. He encouraged students to cultivate healthy habits and prioritize physical well-being, as these were significant in facing future challenges and pressures head-on. He assured that the experiences and lessons learned in Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School served as a strong foundation for the future endeavors that lie ahead. The Speech Day ended with student performances showcasing their talents in the Symphonic Band, Chinese Ensemble, Chinese Dance, English Solo Verse Speaking and School Choir. Then, to crown the occasion, photos of the Officiating Party, the Parents-Teachers’ Association Committee members, the Alumni Association Committee members, Principals and Assistant Principals of other schools, and TWGSS teaching staff were taken in the covered playground after the ceremony.
