“Nurturing Future Leaders and Researchers in Economics and Finance”

Fully funded by the Gifted Education Fund, Education Bureau and organized by the CUHK Business School with support from the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, the “Nurturing Future Leaders and Researchers in Economics and Finance” programme aimed to equip gifted students with knowledge and skills in finance and economics, and groom them to become empathetic and responsible pioneers.

6B LO Yuen-ching was among the 40 participants shortlisted from a pool of 170 applicants across different secondary schools. Under faculty members’ supervisions, they attended various lectures, project-based learning activities, practitioner sharing and company visits from June 2023 to January 2024. Upon completion of the 8-month programme, Yuen-ching made a presentation in a conference to showcase her research results and key insights. She was awarded the Certificate of Merit for her overall performance.
