Life-wide Learning Day (S5) - Elderly Simulation Workshop and Disability Inclusion Workshop

Three impactful activities were organized in the Life-wide Learning Day on 27 February 2024 to provide our S5 students with valuable experiential learning opportunities: Elderly Simulation Workshop, Disability Inclusion Workshop, and the 'Adventure in the Dark.'

 

During these engaging experiential learning activities, students actively participated in various simulations to gain firsthand experience of the challenges faced by the elderly in their daily lives. By immersing themselves in these simulations, students developed a deeper understanding and appreciation for the lives of the elderly. Moreover, they gained valuable insights into fostering equal relationships with individuals with different types of disabilities, contributing to the creation of a more inclusive society.

 

The workshops proved to be thought-provoking and immensely valuable for our students. They provided a platform for collaboration with diverse members of our community, enabling students to understand the emotions and perspectives of others. Through these activities, students were able to develop a concrete sense of empathy towards those in need within our society.
