Inter-house Music Competition

The Inter-house Music Competition, which was organized by the Music Club and four houses, was successfully held on 20 December 2024. Ms ANG Wai-ling, Ann (洪慧玲) (Alumna 1999) and Ms FUNG Kai-sze, Jessica (馮啟思) (Alumna 2013) were invited to be the adjudicators. Students competed in six categories, namely Instrumental Class, Duet, Chinese Folk, Western Folk, Pop Song and House Choir. Our school team String Ensemble performed Christmas Songs while Ms ANG Wai-ling, Ann performed Jeux d’eau by Ravel  after the House Choir competition to let our students appreciate our  Aesthetic Performances.

The adjudicators praised all the performances for their good co-ordination and team co-operation. All the participants performed well and the audience enjoyed the competition very much. The adjudicators appreciated our house spirit and the strong leadership of the house captains. Their musical techniques such as the control of tone, phrase articulations and dynamics were well trained. The collaboration of house members was close and effective. Congratulations to Plum House, which won the Overall Championship.
