14th Inter-Government Secondary Schools English Debating Competition (Quarter-Finals)

The 14^th Inter-Government Secondary Schools English Debating Competition (Quarter-Finals) was held on 3 May 2025, with our school team against the English Debating Team from Queen Elizabeth School on the motion “The number of tourists allowed to visit cultural and natural heritage sites should be limited”.

Three S.4 students (CHOW Anna Kate of Class 4A, CHENG Ka-yau Charmaine of Class 4D and HUI Sai-to of Class 4D) represented our school to participate in this Competition. Having undergone the intense debates and interrogations between the two teams of similarly profound competitiveness, our English Debating Team won the competition and will enter the semi-finals in late May. Our Debating Team’s CHOW Anna Kate of Class 4A also won the Best Debater Award.

Students from the Debating Teams of both schools were incredibly inspired by the incredible learning experience. We once again congratulate the winners on their distinctive accomplishment and express our gratitude to them for bringing prestige to the school.
