This year, our STEAM Week activities focused on the theme of Artificial Intelligence (AI). For S1 students, we organized an AI Fun Day featuring various exciting robots designed to spark their interest in STEAM. During the event, they learned how to control and communicate with different types of robots. S2 students participated in an AI Talk aimed at inspiring them to explore AI technology further and encouraging independent research. Finally, we hosted a "STEAM for Fun" activity where all students could experience AI through motion-sensing games, engaging with a variety of interactive activities.
Additionally, we planned a range of STEAM projects for students in S1 to S3, allowing everyone to participate in both the design and implementation phases. Each student was encouraged to contribute ideas, coding skills, and to present their projects in class.
The AI book exhibition aimed to introduce students of all levels, from novice to expert, to the world of artificial intelligence. Its goal was to foster a reading habit among students and increase their interest in AI.
Most students shared that these STEAM Week activities deepened their understanding of the subject and increased their enthusiasm for STEAM fields. Overall, our goal was to create an enriching environment that fosters curiosity and creativity in the realm of technology.
