Guest Speaker: Daniel Chan Ho Yuen (陳浩源)

We were honored to welcome Daniel Chan Ho Yuen MH, Hong Kong's celebrated wheelchair badminton player, to Tsuen Wan Government School. Daniel, a bronze medalist at the 2020 Summer Paralympics and silver medalist at the 2024 Summer Paralympics, shared his inspiring journey as a para-athlete and the life lessons he learned through badminton.

In his talk, Daniel emphasized the importance of resilience, especially when facing challenges. He shared three essential elements that have guided him to success:

Attitude: Maintaining a positive attitude helps you overcome setbacks and stay motivated, even during tough times.

Belief: Believing in yourself is the first step toward achieving your goals. Confidence can propel you forward, no matter the obstacles.

Commitment: Success requires dedication. Sticking to your plan and never giving up, even when things get difficult, is key to overcoming adversity.

Daniel’s story and advice encouraged our students to face difficulties with courage and resilience.

His message: “With the right attitude, belief, and commitment, resilience can lead you to success.”
