S1 Service Learning – Visits to subdivided flats

In order to cultivate students’ empathy and spirits of community services, several visits to subdivided flats were held on 3 May 2025, co-organised by the Chinese Christian Youth Association of Hong Kong and our school’s Student Whole Person Development Team, with 27 S1 student participants.

Following the service learning workshop held in March, students engaged in the visits to the subdivided flats in the neighbourhood, with a view to learning how to care for the underprivileged. Students were guided by social workers and a teacher throughout the event. During the visits, students had some casual chats with the tenants and gifted them some daily essentials.
