The 65th Anniversary Medical Alumni Forum

The 65th Anniversary Medical Alumni Forum featured the following three alumni speakers:

- Dr Chan Yau-wai, Class of 1985 (Anaesthesiology);

- Dr Leung Hoi-leung, Class of 1995 (Clinical Oncology); and

- Dr Chan Yu-king, Class of 2000 (Emergency Medicine).

The forum offered a clear look at life in medicine – what doctors do, how they balance career and life, the inspirations the profession offers, service learning and the use of AI. Students learnt about the day-to-day demands of clinical work and the importance of keeping a purposeful balance beyond the hospital. The three alumni doctors offered valuable insights from their respective specialties and practical advice on preparing for future careers. Their thoughtful, first-hand experiences also prompted students to reflect on the value of life and the meaning found in serving others.
