Three impactful experiential learning activities, an Elderly Simulation Workshop, a Disability Inclusion Workshop, and the 'Adventure in the Dark', were organised for S5 students during the Life-wide Learning Day on 20 May 2026.
During these immersive workshops, students actively participated in various simulations to gain the experience of the challenges faced by the elderly in their daily lives. By stepping into these carefully structured scenarios, students were able to develop a deeper understanding, respect and appreciation for the elderly. Moreover, students gained valuable insights which fostered equal opportunity between individuals with different types of disabilities, thereby contributing to the creation of a more harmonious society.
These thought-provoking workshops served as a platform for collaboration with diverse stakeholders of our community, enabling students to learn more about the emotions and perspectives of others. Ultimately, students were able to develop a more concrete sense of empathy towards people in need.
