The Form 5 cheer-up workshop successfully transformed pragmatic stress-relief activities into meaningful personal growth. Through interactive games, students enhanced their self-understanding and emotional awareness, learning to identify and articulate the sources of their pressure clearly. To actively manage them, students practised mindfulness and drawing Zentangles—techniques that build vital resilience and adversity coping skills. Furthermore, by incorporating physical exercises alongside these mental relaxation strategies, the workshop significantly promoted students’ holistic physical and psychological well-being. Ultimately, students would be equipped with this personalised toolkit of healthy coping mechanisms, thereby fostering a positive mentality, empowering them to approach DSE preparations with optimism, self-care and confidence.
