TWGSS 65th Anniversary Concert

TWGSS 65^th Anniversary Concert was held on 10 July 2026. With great anticipation, all students, teachers, 40 alumni and over 200 parents gathered together to celebrate TWGSS 65^th Anniversary for music performances. The program featured performances by our Music teams, including the Chinese Orchestra, Symphonic Band, String Ensemble and School Choir. Also, the concert showcased winners from the 78^th HK Schools Music Festival for Vocal Solo, Zhongruan and Erhu Ensemble who shared their wonderful performances. Moreover, our Inter-house Music Competition Western Folk Song Champion Plum house and the 1^st runner-up Chinese Folk Song Bamboo also offered us chances to appreciate their captivating “passing on the torch” pieces. Western and Chinese folk ensemble performances remain a treasured TWGSS tradition and were met with warm appreciation from all in attendance.

Last but not least, our 2021 alumna Miss LAM Stephanie Tsz-wing graced the stage with the song If I Ain’t Got you. Her expressive performance moved the audience profoundly. Following her solo, Stephaine also joined our new teacher, Mr LI Kin-wai, Calvin, for a duet featuring a Cantonese Pop song. We were truly impressed in this joyous atmosphere. Moreover, our school choir and house choir performed Look at the World and We can make a difference. For the finale, we invited 5A TAM Tsz-ching and Stephanie to lead two choirs in performing Thankful for Today – a song dedicated to gratitude. Their performances brought a perfect conclusion to the celebration of TWGSS’ 65^th Anniversary.

The TWGSS 65th Anniversary Music Concert has now drawn to a graceful and successful close. We sincerely hope that our emotions and connections cultivated through today’s performances of masterpieces will linger in our hearts and that we may all share the same joy brought by these delightful pieces.

For sixty-five glorious years, music has remained a cherished and enduring tradition of our school. May this profound passion for the arts be passed down, cherished, and celebrated through generations to come.
