Peer Counsellors Team building and Leadership training course cum AGM

The Counselling Team organized the team building workshop for peer counsellors on 9 July. Due to the raining weather, the abseiling course was rescheduled to 11 July. Students were geared with the safety equipment and abseiled from the third floor of the school down to the ground floor. Current and upcoming peer counsellors joined the abseiling course, which aimed at developing students’ leadership and communication skills, as well as promoting team spirit. Besides, our school social workers held a leadership training course for the upcoming peer counsellors. They participated in a series of competitive tasks led by the social workers. Through these activities, the peer counsellors learnt to be competent. They also acquired the skills to foster better relationships with their peers and be confident to take up tasks. Finally, the AGM for peer counsellors was held and the objectives, year run-down and events to be held were all discussed and finalized.
