Joint School Science Exhibition 2023

FOK Wai-chung (6A), CHENG Yinuo (6A), HUI Sze-wai (6A), and LEUNG Ko-yan (6D) participated in the 56th Joint School Science Exhibition with their product "VegeCallento." Our team won 1st Runner-up in the Proposal Competition and 2nd Runner-up in the 56th Joint School Science Exhibition. The theme of this year’s JSSE was “RHYTHM: Science with rhythm, Guidance to theorem.”

Their product, “VegeCallento”, drew inspiration from vegetables and calligraphy. The model consisted of an ink machine and a paper-making machine that used vegetables as raw materials. The aim was to slow down the hectic lifestyle of Hong Kong people. “VegeCallento” allowed people to practise calligraphy using tools made from readily available household materials, thereby restoring their disrupted rhythm of life. The product received applause from the public during the exhibition.
