Inter-house Music Competition

The Inter-house Music Competition, which was organized by the Music Club and four houses, was successfully held on 16 May 2024. Miss CHAN Hiu-ying, Katy (Class of 2015) and Miss LEUNG Hin-yan, Grace (Class of 2016) were invited to be the adjudicators. Students competed in six categories, namely Instrumental Class, Duet, Chinese Folk, Western Folk, Pop Song and House Choir. Our school teams Chinese Dance Club and Chinese Ensemble performed after the first session of competition to let our students appreciate our Chinese Cultural Aesthetic Performances and share their external competition Champion performances in our school.

 After the competition, members of the Dance Club performed a wonderful and amazing Western hip-hop dance with jazz style for the audience. The adjudicators appreciated all the performances with good co-ordination and team co-operation. All the participants performed well and the audience enjoyed the competition very much. The adjudicators appreciated our house spirit and strong leadership of the house captains. Besides, our students’ voices were lovely and lyrical. Their music techniques such as the control of tone, phrase articulations and dynamic were well trained. The collaboration of house members was close and effective. Congratulations to Plum House, which won the Overall Championship.
